Tiny gPants, for brand new babies.

new baby bundle

Most babies aren’t quite ready for our small little gPants from day one. So we have tiny gPants, designed to fit new babies starting at 6 lb. Tiny gPants are available in the new baby bundle.

  • Tiny gPants close around the back, just like our little gPants.
  • Snaps in the front allow the waist to be secured below the belly button while the umbilical cord heals. When the umbilical cord is healed the snaps can be undone to increase the rise.
  • Tiny gPants have a trim fit, no bulk to impede the movement of baby’s legs. The tiny gPant resembles our snap-in liner, but covered in soft pant fabric with a closure system.
  • Newborns poop often, so the tiny gPants will get soiled and need to be washed. Machine wash cold or warm. Tumble dry low or air dry. If messes are leaking outside the tiny gPant onto clothes or blankets, double check the fit. And of course, call and chat if you have more questions.

How to get a good fit on your new baby.

  • Tiny gPants are designed to fit high up in the crease of baby’s legs. Just like our snap-in liner on our little gPants.
  • Secure the velcro snug around the back, taking care not to over-tighten.
  • Waistband should be secured nice and high in the back, allowing for plenty of room for newborn legs to curl up, as they’re inclined to do.
"THANK YOU for doing something for tiny babies. My baby girl was 5 1/2 lbs at birth and it reeeeally bothered me to have to use non-compostables until she was big enough to fit in the g's. Seeing that large trash bag go out each week almost made me ill. Now, after using g's for a year, I was completely dreading the need to go back to non-compostables until my next one is big enough for the g's. I am so relieved I no longer have to!"
