Cloth diaper inserts for use with little gPants.
The gDiapers system has always consisted of a washable and breathable little gPant and a biodegradable* gRefill. Now, we are offering another earth-friendly alternative to work with our little gPants: gCloth – our washable and reusable absorbent insert.
gCloth are designed specifically to fit our soft little gPants so they don’t require any folding. They provide the same trim fit as our biodegradable gRefills without giving up the absorbency.
Nylon liner makes dirty changes a snap.
gDiapers unique design with a snap in waterproof liner mean you don't need an entirely new pair of little gPants with every dirty diaper. You simply snap out the dirty liner, snap in a fresh one, and re-use the outer little gPants over and over again. Less cost, less washing, less footprint.
Wet diapers are even easier as there will be no need to replace the nylon liner at all: just swap out the gRefill or gCloth and keep on playing.
An added bonus is that our highly technical fabric is waterproof and breathable. So your baby will be far less likely to get diaper rash and will be more comfortable.
Easy on the planet and your wallet.
You can use both gCloth and gRefills with little gPants. Our system is designed to offer you two diapering options with one diaper cover. Use gCloth at home and gRefills when you’re out and about. Best of all, you only need one type of diaper cover whether you flush, compost, toss or wash.
gCloth absorbs, naturally.
Two layers of soft 100% polyester microfleece wick moisture away from baby's bottom keeping it feeling dry and comfortable. Two layers of hemp/cotton absorb wetness and hold moisture in. The white side goes against baby's bum, the brown hemp/cotton side goes down.
Hemp doesn’t wear out, it wears in.
Hemp in particular becomes more absorbent with use so the more you wash gCloth inserts, the softer and more absorbent they become.
How to wash and care for gCloth inserts.
For optimum softness, absorbency and sizing, wash gCloth inserts at least six (6) times in hot water without detergent before using. Expect some shrinkage in length. The extra washing is worth the effort, because gCloth inserts become softer and more absorbent the more you wash them. For regular use you can machine wash on hot and either line or machine dry. Please do not use fabric softeners. If you find that after some use your gCloth is losing some of it's absorbency you may have detergent build-up. Wash your gCloth on hot without detergent (or with just a little bit of dish soap) to "strip" your gCloth of that excess build-up and get them back to peak absorbency.
