For a happy planet, flush, compost or toss.

flush, compost or toss

Where disposing is concerned, you have a choice with gDiapers. And that’s a beautiful thing. You can flush, compost the wet ones or even toss them in the garbage. Everything that goes into making our flushable refills gets reabsorbed by the planet in a neutral or beneficial way. It’s very cool. And it’s why our flushable refills earned Cradle-to-Cradle certification.

Two reasons to flush.

First, you’re putting poop where it belongs, down the toilet. Second, you’re sending the flushable to a place where it can still do some good. Once the contents of the flushable arrive at the wastewater treatment plant, valuable nutrients can be recovered and turned into biosolids, which are then used for fertilizer. So, the flushable is making a complete loop back to nature. And the planet just loves it when that happens.

Why composting is good.

Believe it or not, there are beneficial nutrients in that wet flushable. And the soil in your garden will love them. A refill breaks down in 50-150 days. Poopy ones should never go in the compost.

Tossing is OK, really.

It’s not the end of the world, honest. Because flushable refills are plastic-free, they will break down unlike plastic-rich disposables, which will sit in the landfill for up to 500 years. We simply ask that if you choose to toss instead of flush, please put the poop in the toilet.

Simply Flush

"It's not sanitary to store human waste in your home, especially not an infant's room. Human (solid) waste is toxic stuff—chock full of nasty diseases, not to mention the smell. It's so much easier to simply flush it all down the toilet."
