Title: Diaper Therapist to the Eco-Savvy/Customer Service Manager
Mama to: River, age 5, and Magnolia, age 2
Hometown: Arcata, CA
At gDiapers: since August 2006
What has been your worst diaper experience?
When River was a few months old I drove out to visit my mom, an hour away, cloth diapers packed, just in case. As soon as I arrived at mom's house River wanted to nurse. Eating always had the power to "clean him out", and this day was no exception. While nursing he unloaded BIG TIME, so much that it came out the back and out the legs and all over my leg. My mom came running with towels. We cleaned up Riv, got a new cloth diaper on him, and then I settled him in to finish eating on the other side. No sooner than he started in on nursing and he blew out AGAIN! All over my other leg. River felt great after that. Me? No spare pants, a super soaked pair of jeans plastered to my body, and an hour's drive ahead. I'm not sure how I'll get him back for that, but I will. I will.
In what way do you struggle to be "green"?
I wish I didn't have to drive everyday. If I could only find a rickshaw and someone willing to pull it.

How long have you been using gDiapers and/or working for gDiapers?
We were lucky enough to have gDiapers in the market when our first little one arrived so we’ve been able to use gDiapers from the start! Working at gDiapers since March 2010, Proud gMum and user since 2007.
Why did you come to work for gD?
I was excited to work for a company that stands behind what they are putting out, and cares for the environment as much as they do the people who work for them.
In what way do you struggle to be green?
After a long day running errands and chase with the little ones at the park, nothing is better than a long hot shower! Don’t judge-we all have our weaknesses …
What is your biggest green lifestyle achievement?
We have a happy worm compost bin and I'm an avid freecycler!

Title: Diaper Therapist to the Eco-Savvy
Mama to: Hadley Rose, age 2
Hometown: Chaska, MN
At gDiapers: since June 2010
Why did you come to work for gD?
Ever since becoming a mom, my attitude towards work has changed. I’ve struggled to find meaning and a mission in my work. I’ve worked in many different customer service roles, but never have I worked for a company that embraces the family/work balance quite like gDiapers. I’m doing something good for my family and something good for the earth, what could be better?
In what way do you struggle to be green?
We have yet to start composting. I really want (my husband) to build one this summer; goodness knows my gardens need it!
What is your biggest green lifestyle achievement?
I’m very proud of the fact that our little family of three only produces 1 bag of garbage every other week and we produce double that in recycling.
