let’s get it started.

You’re ready. Know how we know? Cause you’re reading this.

The formula is simple: you need gPants and you need inserts. That’s it. We suggest having 6-8 gPants per size (for small, medium, and large at least). If you want to use the disposable inserts exclusively, count on a case every 3-4 weeks. If you want to use gCloth most of the time, plan on 10-12 diaper changes a day, so 4 packs of gCloth should do the trick. How you get them is up to you. Here are some ideas.

Baby isn’t here yet?

If you’ve got a brand new baby on the way, you’re probably chomping at the bit to get that nursery set up and your diaper stash organized. We know. We’ve been there, too. The planning phase is a lot of fun. But it can be overwhelming. The Newborn Bundle was put together to give you everything you need to use gDiapers from day one. Order it online, pick one up from Babies R Us, or add one to your registry. (oh! speaking of registry, we have these sweet little shower insert cards that you can tuck inside your shower invites, so you can gently suggest/obviously state that you want to use gDiapers on your baby, and hold the plastic disposables, please. We thought that would be easier than having our diaper therapy team call up great-grandma and Aunt Betty…).

Baby is here and ready for a change.

So baby’s bigger than a newborn. Check out our sizing guidelines really quick and then come on back to this post. We’ll wait…

Alrighty. Now that you’ve picked the size you need let’s go back to the equation. Pants plus something to go inside them. That’s all you need. An economical route is to grab the sweet bundle, which gives you 6 gPants and a case of disposable inserts. You can always add other colors to your gPant palette by selecting the fabulous colors and prints that are sold individually.

Pretty easy, right? Let the fun begin!

  1. How do I order the shower invite inserts? “sweet little shower insert cards that you can tuck inside your shower invites”

    Thanks,
    Heather

    1. The tiny gPants have that pouch built right in, so there’s nothing extra to buy. And the size small little gPants that come in the bundle each include a snap-in pouch. So you don’t need to buy more, unless you want extras to have on hand (they’re nice to have, for sure).

  2. Is there a prewash routine I need to do for the gpants and also the gcloths? Baby is due soon so I wanted to get the prewashing out of the way.

  3. My wife and I are expecting any day now! I wanted to prewash the gcloths now before baby arrives. I just washed them all for the first time in warm water and am hang drying them. There was lots of “fuzz” that came off the diapers (some strings came out too). Is this normal? Also is hang drying better than the actual dryer? Thanks!

  4. Would love to enter to win free gdiapers!! I am expecting my 3rd child and I am thinking about changing over to reuseable diapers…….would love to try them out!!

  5. I have been hearing some mixed reviews and would like some more info on your diapers. Do you only have the velcro option? Where do the snaps lay on the baby (for the pouches)? What’s the best way to test out the absorbency one would need for their specific little one? I
    Thanks :)

  6. Im really wanting to try gdiapers. But my questions are how many gdiapers should you actually have? How often should you change the covers throught a day? What kind of brand soaps can be used to wash the covers and the gcloths? I ask this because I make my own laundry detergent with fels naptha bar soap borax and arm and hammer super wash all ingredients carried by Wal-Mart. Could I use this soap or atleast the borax alone or the arm and hammer alone which both are powder like substances? Next could I use any diaper rash creme for use with the gcloths and/ or grefills, such as can I use desitin? I found at Wal-Mart they carry gcloth liners can these help with the use for cloth inserts to not need to be washed so frequently. Can I use the liners with the grefills? How often do the gdiaper covers have to be washed? How often should the gcloth inserts be washed? Ok I think I got all my questions out. Please someone help me answer them all :)
