Launching the Love Me g Collection and connecting with Hands to Hearts International has got us digging into what love means to us. Oh, those 6,000 chocolate hearts we saw at the grocery store yesterday might have been a part of it too… Here’s Kim and Jason talking love in our office yesterday:
It started in Portland. A playdate for local parents and babies at gHQ. Then you jumped in and said “We want that, too!” And we replied with “Totally. Let’s do this.” And so you worked together to create meet-ups in your neck of the woods, all of them under the simple name of “gTea”. You took the initiative to get to know your community off of facebook and into a park. You gathered your friends, your family, and people you had never even met and you put together gTeas in places like Illinois, Alaska, London, Texas, Michigan, Virginia, Washington, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Ohio, California, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Iowa, Idaho, North Dakota and Alberta, Canada.
Leadville, Colorado has an alpine subarctic climate with cold winters, mild summers and minimal rainfall. It’s where educators Carrie, Cooper and their daughter, Hattie call home. Carrie, Cooper and Hattie will be welcoming a new addition to their family later this fall. They’re prepping their home and nurturing their gardens with home-grown compost that includes Hattie’s wet-only disposable inserts. They’ve kindly welcomed us in for a peek of their day-to-day in a continuation of our blog series: gDiapers On Location.
Thank you to Christine, who shared with us a photo of her changing station. Man oh man what we’d give to be as organized as Christine! What’s on your changing station? What does your diaper disposal system look like? Send us your pics. Or post them to Pinterest with #gdiapers.
There isn’t a slideshow program yet created to artfully capture all 750 fan photos that were posted to our facebook wall in 2011. But we knew we needed to make this. We painstakingly trimmed down the amount of photos (often just by an issue of lighting or size) and squished them into this 6 minute video slideshow because we want you to see that you and your babies are what matter the most to us. Thank you for a fabulous year.
