We have been living the nautical life vicariously through our intrepid friends, Jess and James and their darling daughter, Rocket. And now, we’re pleased to report: they’ve reached the shore!
“We’re safely sat happily at anchor in Hiva Oa in the Marquesas, French Polynesia, having made the crossing in a very respectable 26 days. We could have done it faster but we decided not to motor in the ITCZ (International Tropical Convergence Zone, aka the doldrums) as the sea state there was calm so we weren’t too bothered about going slowly.”

An Expert at Being a Non-Expert
Long before I ever even considered writing a blog, I was agonizing over what type of diapers to use. When I discovered gDiapers, I was excited to try them but, at the time, I didn’t have any friends who had gDiapered their babies.
Brian and Elsa are soon-to-be first-time parents who hail from the Instagram-worthy state of Maine. As the days tick up to their due date, waiting has taken a front row seat by the woodstove in their 800-square foot cabin. “While we may be mediocre at preparation, at least we’ve got anticipation down.” The anticipation has looked a bit like this:
