A new year cometh and with it a whole new era for gDiapers. In 2015 we not only celebrate 10 years in business, but we also see the opening of a third gHQ. After Portland (2004) and London (2011), Sydney is open for business, albeit in our temporary location until we move into our more permanent digs in March. But it’ll do :0)

We’re all familiar with Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but did you know that the Tuesday after Thanksgiving is an even more special day, with a generous twist? It’s called Giving Tuesday, and it’s the perfect antidote to the hectic consumerism that can take over this time of year.
I love this holiday. I love how it bookends the Thanksgiving holiday period and lets us start with reflection and gratitude on Thursday and allows us to end with action and giving on Tuesday. It brings us back to what matters.

Firstly, THANK YOU for the countless emails and notes of support we have received over the past month since we posted our ‘update’ on the gBlog. It is truly humbling. Jason and I are always blown away by the generosity of the gCommunity :0)
As we mentioned in our post, we had been facing some pretty massive headwinds the last few years, but with our announcement last month, it already feels like the winds are changing.

The words “Be Kind”, “Don’t Fight” and “Love Big” were words that appeared on a series of t-shirts my now 11-year old son lived in when he was 5. It struck me then as it does now that these simple statements are so powerful. If we went out into the world everyday with this in mind, the world would be a very different place. It was my sons t-shirt that inspired us to create our “Be Kind” pant and remind ourselves of this simple gesture.
